What we do with
your data.

Short version: we use what you give us to run this test programme, nothing else. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. The fuller account is below. Clause 6 of the Test Participation Agreement sets out the same ground in more formal terms; where the two differ, the agreement governs.
What the application form collects
- Your name and email address, so we can reach you about the programme.
- Region and phone platform — we need testers on both iOS and Android, and the two behave very differently over Bluetooth.
- Your vehicle, the places you drive, how often you can get out, and what reference equipment you own. This is how we assess the application.
- Social links, what appealed to you, and where you heard about us — all optional except the last.
- Your choices about name, photographs, vehicle photographs and resharing.
- The source IP address of the submission, kept as a technical record against abuse.
What it is used for
Running this test programme only: assessing applications, shipping and recovering units, contacting you, replying to you, and crediting you publicly within whatever permission you selected. It is not given to third parties, not used for advertising, and not sold.
Anything public is asked separately
Your name, your photographs and video, your vehicle photographs and the resharing of your public posts are four separate permissions, asked separately on the form, and you may say yes to some and no to others. Nothing is published by default — only what you expressly selected. You can ask us to take it down at any time, and we will.
Driving data
The log files you submit during testing — track, speed, attitude — are used for debugging and improving the product. The app's export supports trimming a route, so you can cut out anything you would rather not share before you send it. These logs are not published, not sold, and are deleted once testing ends.
The launch mailing list
It collects an email address and one optional answer about what you mostly do. We currently store your subscription preference without automatically sending marketing email. You can request deletion through support.
Where it lives and how long
Applications, subscriptions and support reports are forwarded through Vercel to our management system and stored in a database in Sydney, Australia. Support image attachments are stored privately, re-encoded, and stripped of EXIF metadata before storage. Do not upload identity documents or unnecessary sensitive information. Submitting a form does not automatically send marketing email.
- Selected: kept for the duration of the programme and for a reasonable period afterwards to finish equipment recovery and the production-unit dispatch.
- Not selected: once we have told you, kept until the end of the next round if you agree to stay on the waiting list; otherwise deleted.
- Mailing list: kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

To see, correct or delete your data, or to withdraw any permission. Use the contact route below; no reason is needed.
Cookies
This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics scripts. There is nothing here to accept or decline.

We deliberately do not publish an email address on this site — a published address gets harvested and buried in spam. Please contact us through the same channel where you saw this recruitment: a comment or direct message under the post will reach us. If you are already corresponding with us, replying to that email is quickest.

If you are applying from outside Taiwan, note that the Organiser is an individual developer based in Taiwan and the programme is run under the law of the Republic of China. Submitted data is stored in Sydney, Australia as described above.
